I have a sony DSC-P10 that was not purchased for inspections and really is not fast enough to shoot several pictures quickly. It has a delay during the “save” process even when used in modes less than 5mp.
I need a recommendation for one that is quicker and not over $200

I just realized the reason for the slow period is not the “save” process. It is after using the flash, it is recharging the flash. Anyone else have a camera that is slow with flash mode?

Bruce, I use the Canon PowerShot . Costs around $200.00 and works great. Small enough to fit in a pocket but easy to use with one hand. I use rechargeable batteries and have never used them up on a house. Highly recommend it. Do delay on flash.
I keep 2 of them incase one doesn’t bounce when I drop it on the concrete

I also use a Canon PowerShot. The A20. I have no complaints. Very easy to use. If you use the display to frame your shot as opposed to the viewfinder, you will go through a lot of batteries.
