Roy should get a “Solved”
Pretty good for an old fart!
How was it powering a ceiling fan? Those are 300 ohm antenna connections as Roy pointed out in his post. They may have been hooked up to 20 gauge speaker wire as you say. They may also have had 120v across them, but they are an open circuit voltage so how did you determine they were powering a ceiling fan? Your DMM could still have been reading a ‘ghost’ voltage.
Look I’m not going to get into a debate on a simple image and asking what it was and how it was powered. I had a long day with my inspections and I have another long day tomorrow and the remainder of the week.
Second, why would I use a sniffer to get voltage? (Ghost) Voltage. I think someone likes to argue and …
I swear that I didn’t take the COVID shot so my IQ is still above 66%. Good night!
So you don’t have any valid information for this thread. Just a hit and run. Your post is riddled with errors and assumptions. Can’t imagine why anyone would want you to do an inspection. You expect help but refuse to answer basic questions.
You used the wrong tool.
Thanks for stopping by, I’m sure that’s the last we’ll see of you.
Must be 70 at least. IQ and ignorance.are two different things.
That’s Mr. Old Fart to you!
