Alabama just notified us that we will be required to take the Nation Home Inspectors Examination before 2005 renewal.

Last year I had let my lic. expire. Long story but I didn't a notice due to some changes who is over us. Anyway I took a ASHI test of some type, it was earlier than required but I wanted to get it out of the way. I don't remember what it was now. But from what I gather this NHIE is not the same thing? Anyone know?

The only test ASHI has been using for a few years is the National Home Inspectors Examination thru the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors.

If you don't have your documentation, contact the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors at www.homeinspectionexam.org .

I found the cert and the State required us to take ASHI standards and ethic exam. Now this year they have changed it to the NHIE exam. Wonder what they will do next year?

Any study material available for this test? Sample tests?
