Greywater is how it’s spelled in America, England the rest of the world, most of the time
Graywater is how it’s spelled occasionally
Try searching on Google. Even Wikipedia spells it “greywater”

The greatest measure of anything is Google, and there are four times as many hits for greywater as there are for graywater. Nevertheless, I’ll let you have this one and propose an alternate spelling in the article
I don’t care what you do.
If you don’t want to spell it in the accepted manner that’s your problem.
I can find thousands of hits from Google for all sorts of madness.
