Good graphics Zak, but isn’t the vapor barrier supposed to be extended at least 6 inches above the flooring on the walls and piers?

IRC Section R408.1 requires a 6-mil Class I vapor retarder over the soil floor for ventilated crawlspaces, but the code does not mandate that the membrane extend 6 inches up the stem walls and piers unless it is designed as an unvented crawlspace (IRC R408.3).
