New Inspector, $ 50.00 for a ride along. I do part time for a charity in Polk County

I received my license in March and would like to get some on-hand experience. I have a lot of construction experience, but the reporting paperwork I’m having trouble with it. I can help pay some of your costs if I need too. Thank you NACHI

Steve, contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring.

Here is the link for CMIs: https://certifiedmasterinspector.org/members

And the link for CPIs: https://www.nachi.org/certified-inspectors

And Mentors: https://www.nachi.org/mentoring

Also, you may want to take advantage of your Education Team at education@internachi.org for these specific type of questions.

Hello Mr.Kage. Thank You for the advice. I"ve called a dozen inspectors. They all say not right now, I understand with the way things are, so I thought a little cash would help. I"m doing it for a charity I do work for. They buy run-down houses in Polk County to help out the homeless and vets. It will work out. Thanks for the info.
Steve
