Governor Scott this week announced his appointment of Ken Lawson as the new Secretary of DBPR. Mr. Lawson is a native Floridian and a Marine and has held numerous positions within the private sector and federal government.
And he hates do nothing licensing, look for a repeal next year, in the meantime… Enjoy! :twisted:

He is an ex Federal Prosecutor as well. He may be there to clean up the mess left by others as well as the construction industry. Mind your P’s and Q’s ladies, there is a new Sheriff in town.
I have seen unlicensed people contracting for far too long in my neck of the woods for me to get my hopes up. Politicians always want to attack, impede, and harass license holders and turn a blind eye to those who work illegally.
