Newly Required License for Ohio

Any existing Ohio home inspectors out there applying for the newly required license? How many of these classes are needed to meet the Ohio’s requirement for continuing education? I still have eight more of the classes to take.

Hi Mike,
Yes, I am applying for the Ohio License also. 80 hours of classes are needed. That is one of the requirements needed. (3 out of the 8 requirements are needed)

Thanks. I believe I’ve taken at least that many this year. I plan to take the national test too. Too busy at work to schedule the test though.

You may want to at least schedule it. When I took it, they were out 6 weeks for my testing center. November 1st is the drop dead date for licensing, that will be here before you know it!
