Florida question: When inspecting the sprinkler system, several times I could not locate a vacuum breaker. I know the ramifications but not sure how to explain it to clients. Does anyone have any verbige to share for the report. Also, if the system is fed by an additional and separated irrigation well is a vacumm breaker required. thanks

Mike,

When I was still plumbing in SC and had reciprocity with FL a seperate double check backflow preventer was required. Vacuum breakers were not permissible. A seperate well totally isolated from the potable water supply would not require this. I would call the Plumbing inspector for you local code though.

PVB is acceptable but must be 12 inches higher than the highest outlet.
