Perhaps Absolut has something to do with this?

Easy Richard, oh nevermind, I thought you were talking about me.:stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Silly people believing silly things.

There is a consprecy theroist behind every tree.

Squirrels chase them, collect them and save them for winter, but some escape.

Is CNN a nut case or main stream news outlet.?

CNN is a classic nut case (owned by a nut case) and Lou Dobbs is just plain silly.

Trade agreements are not the same thing as sovernty capitulation and a highway is not either.

I know you are from Texas, John, and Texas has a real big history of independance (and a good one!), but this type of wingnut silliness can be answered real easy, for anyone who reads and knows more than what they are fed bu CNN.

Re-read the Wickopedia reference (but remember that wickopedia is not relaiable).

And research the sources behind the hype:

As Mom always used to say, consider the source

Here is the governmental, offical source. Bet you that no one actually went there and read it for yourself, and only took old Lou’s word for it.

http://www.spp.gov/

And, of course, Ron Paul sees it as real. That, alone, proves it’s a fake.

Read sources that present facts. Don’t get dragged in by the windnuts:

http://www.spp.gov/myths_vs_facts.asp

That’s the problem with the internet. People believe everything that is posted and (most) people don’t have the basic education, and don’t have the will (or time) to check things out for themselves.

Read some freakin’ history, guys. Learn some economics.

Do your homework.

As Jefferson said, education is the keystone of a Democracy. Lazy people (and those who have a history of not doing their homework in school) are easily led by the nose.

Hope this helps;

(I will duck, now, and await the arrows over the wall.)

No one said that a trade agreement has taken over the total U.S.
sovereignty. This is a typical exaggeration tactic. By misrepresenting
the topic, and mocking, you have failed to address the facts and the
issues.

There are many many people who have stopped laughing, once they
search out the facts. If you lived in Texas and you were about to
loose thousands of acres, so that another country could drive their
trucks through your place, you might not snicker.

Not at the Airport yet?

Any state will loose many acres (maybe Texas will loose more because it is so big) when they build a new interstate highway. Chicago lost many homes (and really P***ed off people) when they built our expressways in the 50s and 60s.

Don’t confuse highway construction with a North American Union take over. Do you really think that they can pull this kind of sovernty take-over without the knowledge (and approval) of the American People? Can you name one major elected official who supports a Nothr American Union? Such an act would require, at the very least, a Constitutional amendment, whicj are pretty hard to just sneak through.

BTW: Lou Dobbs is a total wingnut.

Resolution HR 1
" This resolution of the House of Representatives urges the United States to withdraw from the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and any other activity which seeks to create a North American Union."

Some people are concerned about what is happening. Again,
I have not said the US is being taken over, but pretending
that there is nothing to discuss is not reality.

I could go on and on… but it appears there are some people passing
laws and debates are taking place at many levels on this supposed fantasy.
It is not nuts to consider an issue.

This is my last post… just something to think about.

NAFTA is a trade agreement, not a surrender of sovernty.

But, many wingnuts, and the unions and other ill-informed people want to believe otherwise.

Nothing new. Look at the old “Free Silver” movements.
