Ok! My new inspector stood me up…
He wanted to do a ride along with me , but it didn’t work out that way for him.
I’m retired, but scheduled a nice 3/2 on slab next Tuesday at 10 am for him.
If you want to do a ride along with me just say so…

That’s not a good way to start out. Wish I was closer! I recall walking into an inspectors office last year and introduced myself, informed him I was new and trying to get started. I asked him if he had any advice and without blinking he said “I don’t have any advice for you.” I said “no advice at all?” He said no and I walked out. FYI I’m in Tampa where there are over 14,000 home for sale any given day so it’s not like I was going to hurt his business.

I like to see you guys ready to help. I see enough for all. That said, I would like to do a ride along in SW Florida. New to Naples. Anyone up for it?
Anyone in Tampa willing to allow a Ride Along? I am fully insured and wonder how the ‘Supervising’ inspector would do it? Do you have a standard Ride Along agreement I would need to sign? Being a retire Army guy I only get a few inspections a month but would really enjoy assisting and getting some insight from a veteran inspector.
