Just heard about this in Cali but seems its Earth-wide. Just a FYI…
This image below was posted on our local mountain forum in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Cali from around 2500’ elevation. Pretty cool. I couldn’t see it by eye at 670’ altitude but my roomie also caught it on her camera.
People do realize this has a greater than zero chance of a kill shot? There are still two more blasts headed our way. It probably won’t do anything, but the further north you are, the more likely you might experience something negative, like power loss for a few days or weeks.
I watched a video of the borealis shot here in Colorado. It was very cool. I got up three times during the night to see the borealis, and all I saw were faint bands of shimmering light. Ho-hum.
