Anyone know why the roofer cut these notches out of the shingles at the roof edge? There was several notches cut out. Thanks!
I’ve never seen that done. It certainly appears deliberate. I don’t know why. It’s definitely a defect that should be repaired.
What makes you think the roofer did it?
Notches? Looks like damage at some point due to snow removal.
I’m going to blame it on the siders and their pump jacks.
