I am gradually assuming the duties of president of the north west florida home inspectors association, and with our past presidents and board’s help, hope to welcome the expertise and enthusiasm of our members and help us all celebrate this banner year as they have in the past! The nwfhi’s mission will always remain the same: To provide continuing education to the home inspectors and provide a service for the buyers, sellers and investors of property. But how we fulfill that mission is now quite different. On behalf of the board and each member of our association, i welcome you to visit our website, www.nwfhi.com which outlines our mission and goals. We are also happy to announce that the association is expanding popular programs such as the onsite training that was put together from the previous members and directors. Together we hope to plan many exciting events. Infrared training by flir, which is scheduled at the upcoming meeting in july, onsite electrical training from the chief electrical inspector from our municipality with samples of the new retrofitting of outlets to help us educate others what they should be looking for and then expert direction from our own members who have a lot to offer as well. The goal this year is to recruit new membership and help grow our association to new faces, while continuing to welcome each of the current membership. I am sending this notice to give you plenty of time to invite a friend, contractor, electrician, plumber a realtor, etc… Please forward this message along to a past member that perhaps might enjoy the upcoming meeting and getting involved.
I look forward to seeing everyone july 19th at the ihop, unless you have a better suggestion and location that good for everyone.
