Is Kamala Harris’s campaign team afraid that the vice president won’t perform well in unscripted settings and live press conferences? Do they think that a sit-down interview would require her to defend some of her positions and she would come under pressure? Why has she not held a single press conference since Joe Biden pulled out and endorsed Kamala Harris for the US Presidential Election 2024? I, too, don’t really “fear” either candidates’ term either. I am mostly concerned with what will transpire locally if Trump is confirmed the winner. I’m talking about protesting, which actually consists of rioting, violence & vandalism. My concerns are based solely on past personal experience. I didn’t encounter any protest when Biden was determined the winner & the Jan 6th thing did not occur where my wife works or children go to school.
There was local violence & vandalism during the times of the Floyd thing & a local officer involved shooting. Enough that the schools & my wifes work decided to implement riot protocols to help stay safe should things escalate further. Fortunately, my wife’s store wasn’t overrun, but the one down the street was. I don’t think the schools were really in danger back then, but they just wanted to be prepared.
Edited to add that I do not intend to vote democrat unless Harris wins me over somehow. I’m staying open until I cast my ballot.
So, how do you feel about Harris choosing Walz (The MN Gov. during the Floyd riots and burnings) as her VP running mate? That should play well when Trump kicks their asses!!

I hope that doesn’t mean anything to the folks down here that just look for any excuse to justify poor behavior.
The city of Austin’s police force is an absolute joke; they are almost non-existent. I have seen two police vehicles in the past 3 years. They won’t do anything to help against rioting. Fortunately, I live in Cedar Park & our police force is fantastic. I will be counting on them to prevent my children from seeing their dad have to protect our property & our lives.

Rest easy, there is really no scenario where that notion becomes a reality… The real question is what will the landscape look like once NY sentences Trump. Within the next 30 days it will become apparent to everyone that the Trump ticket is destined for failure, it will bubble up from the collective unconscious as if by magic. 
I know you said you’re voting Trump but so does that mean essentially the Democrats are scaring people into not voting for Trump?
It won’t change anything; he has already been convicted and is a successful martyr. He will dominate that news cycle and there is obviously no such thing as bad publicity for Trump.

Then why worry about what might transpire (not necessarily will)? What will be will be if it happens. Texas is a constitutional carry State so just Lock and Load and go about daily life! You are allowed to defend yourself in Texas if necessary.
