Is there a rule that says the door has to be centered between the steps? The only real problem I see is the handrail is on the opposite side of the doorway, other than the top riser needs closed (trip hazard)

I believe there is one that says the treads have to extend to the edge of the door opening. Looks like this one is about 1.5" short
