I’m excited to announce that Yalia Technology Design will debut our free report hosting tool at the Ohio NACHI meeting this weekend. Members attending the meeting will also be able to sign up for, and participate in, our beta test which commences on August 25th.

Beta is scheduled to run 8/25 through 9/5, with a targeted launch date of this service to all NACHI members on 9/15.

Cheers,

Roberta Dulay

Well since only NACHI members in good standing will be able to take advantage of the free report hosting by Yalia when it’s launched publicly, it seems only fair that only NACHI members should be able to participate in the beta program as well.

Everyone at the meeting, however, will get to see the debut of this tool, which we developed for our own clients and have now decided to make available to NACHI members everywhere. We'll be showing this tool in action, live at the meeting, right before we give away and build a web site for one NACHI member live onstage.

Wish you could be there to see it.

Brian, I am almost certain it will be pdf.

Roberta, what does "debut" mean. Is it pronounced dee butt ? If so, maybe I can use it.

Hi Brian,

I can actually configure the system to take any file type, however PDF is the most common and acceptable format to deliver reports in these days.
For the free version, it seems logical to limit file types to pdf, however I am open to other suggestions.

Regards,

Roberta

p.s. do you want in on the beta as well? I have a limited number of people I'm taking off the boards, but there's room for you if you want to participate... I know you've got online report delivery already through InspectVue, but this is more personalized and secure in terms of how the reports are delivered.
