Both a flexible conduit and a coating are for corrosion protection mostly, their protection from physical damage is very limited. About the only thing I see here to protect the lines from physical damage is encasement in mortar/concrete. Otherwise they get tucked into a corner away from traffic and stay above floor.
A bare copper line is no longer allowed even if not encased in concrete, so all new lines are either coated or inside a flexible conduit. Old lines encased in concrete/mortar get OSV valve before they get replaced.

Move the oil tank closer to the furnace
We noted the fuel line is exposed to damage.
Recommend it be properly protected as to avoid a fuel leak and a fire hazard .
It is that easy people !
