Old Electric

I am concerned that the electric and wiring not being grounded at a home I am wanting to purchase won’t pass inspection! Everything looks like it is probably around the 1960’s, no 3 prong receptacles, I am not sure if it has the aluminum connectors. If I need to replace everything before I purchase the home, what would be a reasonable guess as to how much it would cost?
Thank you

Get an inspection done to find out what you are looking at, then get an estimate from an electrical contractor for the cost of any repairs, remediation that needs to be done as a result of what you learn during the inspection.

The inspector is not going to pass or fail the property. They are going to tell you about the property. Passing or failing is your call as the prospective purchaser and dependent on what is acceptable to you.

Good answer!
