I usually comment if a major component appears to be nearing or past its useful life expectancy, but this Trane was manufactured in 1979, and was working good at today’s inspection!

I saw a 1968 hot water heater a few months ago.
It was a Rheem.
1968 built duplex. The side with the 1968 water heater looked like new. That side of the duplex had hardly been used.
It was unplugged. The owner plugged it in and it had hot water within 30 minutes;-)
