Can anybody give me some insight on what to do when you run across an out house, other than the obvious.


I was contacted by a client today about inspecting an 1892 built home with an outhouse. His concern is can he just fill it in and remove the house or would he have to have it excavated, tested, and then filled in?


Any suggestions would be great.

I would check with the local health dept. They should be able to answer your question. Would not be allowed to fill in, in my area.
