Outside outlet near water faucet

How close can a outlet be to a outside faucet? is there a standard?

There’s no code / rule as to how close an outlet can be near a hose bib. It is recommended that outside outlets be GFCI protected with a weatherproof cover though

Thanks, the outlet is about 6 inches above and a foot the right.

Is a faucet any different than a rain storm?

If it’s outdoors not an issue since it would require a wet location cover anyway. That cover would protect from rain or any potential spray from the hose.
