Hi guys, how do you get the main panel rating! Is it the same for the overhead service?

The rating of the panel should be on the label, the service rating is determined by the main O/C device and the service conductors. The actual drop from the utility is harder to figure. They operate under different rules and their wire is always smaller.

If you are asking whether or not there is a way to determine the panel rating just by looking at it, no, you can't.
