Pay for Goggle?

Hey everyone,
I just got a phone call from “Google” saying that I need to verify and claim my business on google. I know that I have verified my business already and have google ads running. Did anyone else ever get a phone call asking for $599USD to claim there business and keywords on Google?

Joel it’s a scam. I get that call from India about once a week. Google will verify you by mail, there is nothing more to do.

Watch out for the “Google Partners”, too - they try to come across as though they actually work for Google, and even when you press them to state that they are Google Employees, they duck. Scam city.
