I have a roofing contractor recommending a “peel and seal” membrane to repair an aging box gutter. Would someone comment on their experience with this kind of repair?
Thanks,
Dave Burke

Sounds more like a homeowner repair then an actual repair of an aging gutter. It may work but it can also cause damming with any debris that gets caught in the gutter and as we all know most homeowners don’t keep their gutters as clean as they should be.

Sounds like a rig job to me. If it’s a built in gutter, it needs to be replaced with copper and soldered at the seams which is expensive, but the only way to go. Got a pic david?
