Business is growing rapidly and the phone seems to ring constantly. I do not like to talk to prospective or current clients while working with a customer. I also do not like to play phone tag during the day and into the evening. I am curious if any of you use an answering / scheduling service. I have seen web based scheduling systems that provide calendars for client viewing and e-mail notification to the inspector. Is there a type of service that is effective? There is nothing like personal phone contact. That being said, if you think you need to use an answering service, call them and see how they respond/handle/sound for other HI companies.
We thought about it early on and after doing the above we decided it would be more damaging to use the particular services we tested.
