This almost ties the worst encounter in a brand new home. I have had to write up remove feces from insulation before.
I guess the builder’s Quality Assurance guy didn’t notice this just right inside the attic access door…or said to himself, “Not my job.”
Makes you wonder what else make be enclosed or buried. Yuck!
