OK My brain is spinning and I can’t find the code that says showers/tub plumbing cannot be installed in pony walls. I did find IRC 2708.2 and UPC 412.12 stating that secure shower valve, head/riser to permanant structure.
The pony wall height stops at 7'.
HELP

Scott,
I'm not aware of any height regulations either.
I've even seen shower heads installed right on the inside of gable ceilings in finished attics at 5 feet above the floor. I just tell my client to get midgets to occupy the apartment to avoid bending over to take a shower.

Youse west & east coast guys are so wierd. Here in the midwest our ponies have overhead showers in their stalls all the time, and they’re always under 7’ tall - otherwise the poor ponies couldn’t turn them on.
