Possible PB piping in a 5 year old home?

I just inspected a newer home with what appears to be some kind of PB piping, it is white in color and used brass fittings and black bands for the connections, My question is, is this PB piping or something else.


According to the IRC 2000 for one and two family dwellings, PB is still an acceptable material. Section P2904

Hi Alex,


The pipe you describes is manufactured by a company called PEX. It is not PB.
