I have an orientation type phone call with every client where I tell them how long the inspection takes, what I inspect etc. Then I tell them I’m going to send them an email with links to the contract. I tell them to look at the contracts even if they are attending the inspection. If they’re not attending I tell them to sign them on line and I explain how to do it. Then I tell them if they have any problems give me a call and I’ll walk them through it. As far as agents signing…in rare situations my understanding is this is allowed but they have to write “agent for…” in the signature box. I don’t send the agent the contract typically unless he or the customer tells me he will sign for the customer but I still send them the links so they can review it.
