Professional opinions wanted

Some claim thee is suppose to be a 36" clearance but I’m not sure where that comes from.

In this case, it was installed that way 30 years ago and by the same POCO for both.

If that was exsting then there is not much we can do about it unless if the service is upgrading then it will be move to correct location somecase a lack of commuation between the electric divison and gas divison of the POCO can cropped up the situation there.

This is the real answer. They typically do watever they want because they follow their own set of rules.

lol…I really should start taking pictures of the “CRAP” I see around Richmond, VA…Man I dont know how many “jump out” temporary services I see because people are waiting for POCO to drop the main service conductors…I see 400A services with 10 AWG feeding them…running through the top hub with duct tape sealing it…and it sometimes stays that way for 6-8 months…
