Is it acceptable to have PVC piping installed as the vent flu, instead of B vent piping, on new carrier gas furnaces?

As long as it is a 90+ type furnace it’s fine. Gotta picture?

Not on a natural draft exhaust. It is allowed on many induced draft and high efficiency models. The manufacturers recommendations will tell you for sure.
