another plumbing "code" question today, there are 2 correct answers on this dependent on the adopted codes in your juristiction, if this were part of a national exam I would say that the IRC answer was the best one, but will accept both here.

As I said, both are acceptable answers, but if this came up on NHIE I would go with IRC.

Ryan, I think you must have misread it also as I did ask for the maximum then minimum (just to be awkward ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif) ) the two correct available answers got:

42 inches & 18 inches 15%
30 inches & 18 inches 31%

so collectively we had 46% correct answers
