Continuing with some old heating/cooling system questions …

**Q: If the outdoor temperature is less than **65°F a home inspector should?

Systems with crankcase heaters and head pressure controls routinely run at much lower temperatures, but these are usually found on commercial systems.

It is beyond the standards or usual traning of an HI to determine if an AC system has low temrperature controls.

But there is a twist to this question.

I saw that…

An air conditioning system should not be operated when it’s cold outside as that could cause damage. The heating system could also be turned off, but thats not necessarily something an HI “should” do. So the most correct answer is …

C. not run the air conditioning system

Thanks Robert Good info for all much appreciated … Roy
