It is critically important to provide your client with the “implication” in an inspection report.
Implication can refer to logic, rationale, impact. Example: How will this condition impact your client?

Perhaps this statement and wording will help clarify the word “implication”. It was sent by another Canadian inspector.

An inspector should provide his client with “the ramification (s) of his findings” in the report. Alternatively, consequence, corollary, resulting in, or cause / effect may be suitable too perhaps.
