Question about radon

Would a geiger counter work for radon testing?

That way i could get immediate results of several radiation hazards.

Ok I see it , it sounded too good to be true

EPA minimum requirement is 48 hours.

Take InterNACHI’s Radon course. Don’t wing it.

Take the Radon course offered by NACHI.

It should give you the answers you need.

Im just getting certified in Radon testing. what is the consensus on Radon monitors with or without features such as temperature, atmospheric pressure or humidity levels? Are they part of the radon testing protocol or experience? will they skew measurements either way? are they important features to have when testing?

Thanks,
