Ok, so I start inspection class soon and very excited about getting thru that. I am going thru a 6 straight day class with AREA real estate academy. My question is what next/now? should I be looking for someone to apprentice with? how important is that? should I begin marketing? I am not really sure what to do at this point to get my business started and wondering if I need to wait or get started asap. Any tips or pointers would be great thanks.

Ps. and yes joining NACHI is very high on my list of things to do once class is thru.

Hi Steve,

It would help if you would include your location when asking questions like this. Many parts of the country have different requirements.

Please tell us what area you are in then we can address your questions.

Thanks,

I am trying to establish an inspection business too, in NC. The real estate people tell me I need to be ASHI. I can’t get on their message board. Does this NACHI association offer similar influence in the real estate community? Your fee is cheaper, but nobody I have spoken to (yet) knows NACHI.

Thanks.
