The only reason to actually go through the pain of having a corp outside is if your hiding something or make soooooo much money, you need to hide something.

I had a delaware corp back in the '80’s and a cali corp in the 90’s, cali corp was less painful because i just used my own address for everything and did not have to maintain an office out of state.

May I ask why?? are you asking?

All of my businesses in Texas were incorporated in Delaware.

California is a different story. It's simply easier to do business in Califronia when one is fully in California. I think if you looked at the incorporation records for this state, the only ones that are incorporated elsewhere are those who incorporated elsewhere before they started doing business in California.
