This is in a commercial building. This future bar was wired with 3/8 Flexible Metallic Tubing instead of EMT or Rigid Conduit. I thought that Flexible Metallic Tubing and Flexible Metal Conduit could not exceed 6’ in there use. Is this a proper method of wiring for a commercial building?

It probably has a ground in it. May be a b/x cable, or an armor clad roll of flex that already has wires in it. Yes it is very common. Though here the b/x brand is no longer allowed.

No there is not any ground in it. The bx or AC is acting has the ground. I should have stated that in the original post. That is why I was asking about the length.

If it is type AC there is no limit on length. The bonding strip will shunt out the leading edge wave of the fault.
