I didn’t look at your adjusted answers, Tony. EDIT: ok, I did look and still not yet but disqualification is no fun.

From post #1 instructions:

“Members may make one post per question thread to answer the questions, and the member’s winning entry must have all parts of the questions answered completely in that one post. Editing your one answer post allowed will result in disqualification.”

We’ll see how it all pans out, later maybe.

Oops didn’t read that part, dang

Congratulations, Junior, you win!

His was the 1st correct answer.

(I mis-read one of his answers…sorry, Junior.)

Questions and answers:

  1. What do these numbers and letters mean? (Start upper left & go down, then upper right and go down. There are 5 items.)

  2. Assume all need safety glass. When is glass in door exempt from being safety glass? ( When 3” sphere cannot pass through or decorative glass.)

  3. Where at bottom of stairs should handrail return to wall? ( A handrail must be continuous for the entire length of a stair, from directly above the top riser to directly above the bottom riser, and terminate (die into) the adjacent wall or a newel post, per International Residential Code (IRC 311.7.8.2). It can, of course, extend longer into the landings.)

  4. What is the minimum area of a habitable room? ( 70sq. Ft. Except kitchens.)

  5. What is the minimum wood shake keyway? ( 3/8” to 5/8”)

  6. Name these trusses:

You know how to choose and get your prize.

(I need to ride my bike for 5 miles. But, I’ll be back .)
