YEA!
We have two winners this week.
What did it for me is you both nailed the music.
Peter Giannino & Michael Egbert

  1. What does a queen termite eat?
    Cellulose
A termite queen is fed by her workers. Worker termites venture outside of the colony and feed on wood, turning the wood into cellulose. This cellulose is brought back to the colony to feed the queen.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~
2) What kind of wood do termites not eat & some may kill them?

Termites don’t eat Redwood, Brazilian Jatoba, Walnut, Mahogany, Teak, and Cypress. These woods are naturally resistant to termites. Research have shown that these woods repel the termites and kill 75 % of the termites that attacks them.
Most species will not attack hardwoods due to the natural lack of moisture.
Wood treated with a borate product like this.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~
3) Do termites eat drywall?
Drywall, also called sheetrock, is used for walls and ceilings in homes. It is made of panels of plaster enclosed on both sides with thick sheets of paperboard. Since drywall is partially made of cellulose, termites can readily feed on the paper in drywall and cause damage

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~
4) Uncooked termites taste like ___, fried grasshoppers taste like sardines!
pineapple
