Has anyone had a problem with radalink? I’ve been using their equipment this year, and have been very pleased. Then today, I retrieved a monitor, tried to access the radalink website and could’nt open the page. I called the toll free number, and got a busy signal, kinda strange. After several tries, I got through and was told they were having trouble today. I’ve waited a couple of hours, still can’t access the website, and now when I call, I get a recording that says the number can’t be accessed from my area. Meanwhile, my client and his realtor are chomping at the bit for the results of the test, as the inspection window closes tomorrow. I really think this is an isolated incident, I’m just wondering if anyone that’s done business with them in years past has had any negative experiences like this.

I am in class with Radalink in Tampa.


Terry, mentioned their T1 for their web was down. As far as he knew the phone sys was OK, but their faxing ability was not.

They were expection to be up soon.

Whew, it’s all going again. Problems with the phone company in Atlanta. I’ve never had any problems before, and wouldn’t have jumped up and down if there had been a couple of days to play with. If all my business depended on the phone company, I’d been really upset. Here in Columbia, a backhoe operator nicked an underground cable and knocked out the phone service to 25,000 customers. The phone co. had a round the clock knitting crew working for almost a week. We assume the basics will always be there…

Coincidence… but I just tried to go on their site and they are down again… did a search and tried several different pages, but all down. Any news… I am looking to purchase one after the first of the year and hear many positive remarks about their systems. icon_cry.gif

Not working for me either. I want to find out more information on them. I’ve only been asked twice to do Radon testing , so not sure it’s worth it.

The first 4 years in business, I was asked, like 4 times total, if I tested for Radon. It just wasn’t worth it for me to do it. Then this January, 3 out of the first 5 phone calls I got requested a radon test. What happened? Why the increase in requests? I dunno, but I farmed it out to another inspector. I decided then that someone was gonna be offering and getting paid to test for radon, it might as well be me. I checked EPA’s website, www.epa.gov and most of Missouri is listed as a moderate risk. About 1 of 5 homes I tested this year was higher than 4.0. I’ve done re-tests for both of the remediation contractors in my area, and I’m wanting to add another monitor in '05. It is a value added service and adds $ to my bottom line.

I have Radon Sample containers from a lab, but just have never been asked to perform the sampling.
