Virginia is proposing new legislation regarding radon and radon testing/mitigation.
Part of the bill is education and awareness for the public. The other part is about creating regulations for Radon professionals in the state, overseen by the Health Dept.
Hopefully they will grandfather existing folks in. Never know though.

This bill was killed in subcommittee. The VA State Health Dept. already oversees Radon testing and mitigation by requiring radon professionals to be either NRSB or NRPP certified.
And InterNACHI’s free, online radon course is approved by NRSB and NRPP. The only one BTW.
