Inspections Over Coffee is a Colorado based Residential, Commercial and Environmental Inspection Company providing Certified Home Inspections for the Real Estate Industry. Our business is continually growing and is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who possesses true dedication, professionalism, and exceptional people skills. This is a full-time contractor position with the potential to become a full-time hourly employee with Inspections Over Coffee. Starting pay will be based on experience and qualifications. Our ideal candidate is someone that has been in the industry for 2 or more years, has a great reputation in the real estate community and who is currently (or interested in becoming) an NRPP certified Radon Technician.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• The main role involved with being a radon technician involves driving consistently throughout the day to drop and pick up radon machines.
• Maintain QA/QC by adhering to industry guidelines, local regulations, and company protocols. Conduct regular quality control checks on equipment and procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Radon Testing: Perform radon testing in residential and commercial properties using approved testing devices and protocols. This includes deploying testing devices, monitoring them over a specified period and collecting samples for analysis.
• Radon Measurement Analysis: Interpret test results accurately, calculating the average radon levels and providing detailed reports to clients. Explain the significance of radon levels and advise clients on appropriate next steps.
• Client Communication: Interact with clients professionally, explaining the radon testing, discussing test results, and answering questions or concerns.
• Documentation: Prepare radon reports and maintain accurate records of radon testing. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Act as eyes and ears of company with a customer service attitude and professionalism
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements, regulations, and industry practices related to radon testing. Attend training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a radon measurement professional from the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB)
• Familiarity with radon testing equipment and protocols.
• Knowledge of Colorado radon regulations and guidelines.
• Home Inspection or other industry related experience (preferred, not required)
• Customer Service Experience
• Sales Experience

• Must be able to physically lift or carry 20 + pounds and carry out installation activities.
