Any knowledge about possible toxicity of railroad ties treated with creosote, including leaching into veggie beds, children touching and licking their fingers, etc. I know PT is a no-no, but how 'bout RR ties?

Thanks.

When I grew up in a Colorado railroad town you could smell that stuff everywhere, especially in the hot summer days. I actually like it. Us railroad buffs are kinda strange. aiwebs_004.gif
