I didn’t realize I hit 88 miles per hour and time traveled.

You should have stopped and bought yourself a genuine $69 HDMI cable or a USB-A to USB-C cable for $34 bucks because it’s certified.

They are looking out for ya. You just never know when you’ll need to replace that hard to find diode in your transistor radio.

I remember our local store had a decent tube selection.

And the even weirder thing is the people manning the store actually know what they’re talking about.

There’s a lot of truth to that. It’s something that often goes unfilled in some of the big box stores.

My father got sick of retirement. So, a few years ago he took a part time job at a hardware store. He absolutely loves working there as there are so many loyal customers that chose them over Lowes & Menards for that exact reason.

Did pretty good today so far. Turned $20 into $250. Normally I’m the opposite.

Got a new kitten last week. His name is Cruiser and is about 6 months old. He was pretty shy the first few days, but now he owns the place. Getting him used to a leash so he will be our camping cat!

I love the name Cruiser. Sounds like a good book.

We’re selling our rental property. In June, I replaced three ceiling fans, with some nice new sorta expensive Kichler ones with LED panels.

Had some storms go through a couple weeks back.

Blew out all 3 of the lights in the new ones. Also blew out the router, the modem, the power line network connecters I used to connect the TV to the network and two other light bulbs. That’s a good $800 or so.

Can you see where it blew out?

Also, I took this out of the panel. I didn’t install it, so it was there when I bought the home and apparently either it was going to be way worse, or it did exactly nothing. Hard to say. I even pay for the surge in the panel that the utility puts in.

I installed an Eaton Ultra in the panel of the home I live in. If I wasn’t selling this place, I’d put one of those in that panel as well.

Oh and the modem and router were powered by a UPS, so that did zilcho as well.

Took this the other day walking my dog in the park, notice how low the power wire is to the ground.

This would be the reason why.

This guy is hanging out right outside our back door. Been watching it for a few nights and noticed it got a stink bug this evening.

They just don’t build them like this anymore.

This High School near downtown Cincinnati was down the street from today’s inspection.

Built in 1853 for $23,375.00, just the entrance would cost more than double that today.
