Yearling Angus, they weren’t very big… considering…
It probably helps being packed together when traveling via truck…harder to fall down on those quick stops and starts.

On the way back home from across the state on Lake Huron, a deer hit me about dark ~7 miles from home.
We’re okay and the truck is drivable, so that’s good.
Yeah, that’s deer poop on the door.

My truck did. 
Funny thing. I was driving slower because I know this area is a deer crossing and it’s raining and dark. But out of nowhere they came and I missed two but this one kept coming into the side of the truck. Not much to do really.

I had a deer hit my car once. I had just closed the window and then whump…and a long lick across the driver window. I’d have take a deer to the face with a kiss.
Need to release the hounds and eliminate some of these feral land rats.

Had a long drought here and almost all the trees just turned brown and dropped their leaves. With more than 100 trees on my property, I have one tree, a variety of Japanese Maple, that decided to give off some color.

This was an emergency landing of a balloon in the park near my house last week. My dog freaks out when he sees them flying overhead, when this one landed, I think he thought he was going to scare it away by charging it. LOL
