Oofda. That’s a haul. My furthest to date has been 2 hours 10 minutes, 129 miles. Did it actually at the beginning of this month for a HUD cert. Those are such an easy inspection and report and good money, that it’s worth driving further for.
I don’t mind trips like that especially when the trip charge is as much as the inspection fee. LOL. If the route I took didn’t take me through a bunch of tiny podunk areas with lower speed limits, and having to take a couple of pee breaks, today’s trip would have been 2 hours, but not having to deal with Interstate traffic was worth it. Set the cruise control and relax… Just don’t drink too much coffee before leaving the house.
That’s the truth. I have just about every gas station with decent bathrooms mapped out in a 75 mile radius, lol.
I used to have every nailer to build a house, including a coil nailer for roofing. Sold it when I moved to Florida. When am I ever gonna get on a roof in Florida. In that heat, that’s nuts!
Besides the fact I’m on a roof pretty much every day I work, I’ve fixed more shingles in the past few weeks than I’ve done in my life. As I’m banging in nails, I said WTF are you doing dumbass.
I’ve got a cap repair next week and black Friday all month at Home Depot!
Thank the good lord. No more dragging an air compressor and hose around.
Yes, simply not doing that part of it is worth the money. I don’t do re-roofs, so if this can only set 500 nails on one little battery, that’s probably 475 more than I’ll ever need for a job.
Spent some time in Natchitoches, LA. (Nack-A-Tish).
Beautiful Christmas lights!
nice David and Larry!
