We had some snow, not much left. We’ll get a big dump soon.

Well, if you had real tires on that Yukon, it wouldn’t be an issue

Been a dry year for the most part, at my house anyway. Only 2 measurable snow falls so far this season. Other parts of the state have gotten quite a bit. Nothing new really…

It’s just cyclical. The climate has been doing random stuff for centuries. There are cold years, there are windy years, there are snowy and rainy years too. I’ve lived here in CO since 1987 and have seen a wide variety of weather, even some wildly crazy stuff over the years. The only thing that is consistent is the inconsistency of it all… When I first moved here, locals used to say “If you don’t like the weather here, stick around for 15 minutes, it will change.”

Now we’re talkin… Prolly some truth to that… The guberment has their hands in everything…

I love those kinds of days!

In the mid to late '90s I was on a snow removal crew. One afternoon a blizzard rolled in and dumped on us. I plowed snow from 6 PM until 6 AM during that storm. Around 4 AM or so the storm broke and the temperature dropped to -30°F. (Yes, 30 BELOW ZERO) By 2 PM that same day, I was called back into work to help with flooding issues. It was 70°F outside. It was astounding to say the Ieast. 100° temperature swing in less than 12 hours…

This came across my FB feed and all I could think was that I better share this with you in case you venture out in that 3" of fluffy snow. :upside_down_face:

My project for the weekend…

I’ve had this old red Snap-on toolbox for 25 years. Inherited it when my pops passed away, and I’m sure he got it used for a song and a dance. Drawers barely work, everything is over-stuffed.

Finally sprung for a nice big tool chest combo. Now just to transfer everything over and figure out what else I need to fill the new one. I will miss all the stickers I put on the old one though.

What’s the cause, Kevin? Because I’m not seeing them on the other houses.

Some heavy duty ice damming, Larry. Those pictures were from the rear side of the townhouse, these pictures are from the front side.
