Random Photos - What have you shot lately (non-inspection)

Wow, glad it missed you Larry. Hopefully your Gov. has the lineman corp activated. Ice storms can be devastating.

Did you use bracketing w/ merging for that shot Mark?

I blew up the sign and this is what it said. Lol

I did not. I just set it on manual and took a dozen photos. Registax does some kind of voodoo and makes images look awesome. lol. It’s been a minute since I used it. I still have the dozen base images, then you have to run a couple steps in Registax and then it spits out those images with depth to them.

We took some back roads this morning, pleasant ride, nice scenery, farm country. The highlight was seeing some real cowboys in action…
There were two bulls fighting on the run toward the back of the pack (just in front of cowboy at left)

There was a small calf bringing up the rear…

Another cowboy rounds up a couple stragglers from the right flank

Just ahead of the last pic they had their trucks and trailers set at a pen.

Kicking myself for not stopping to watch them for a few more minutes.

Nice to see Dave.

This is at mississippi river state park AR. The mighty mississippi is flooding the delta. The photo of my truck nav system shows the actual mississippi river as the thick blue area at upper right.

This Traverse City, MI Bald Eagle Nest Live Cam #1 is about 10 miles north of me.

There are 2 eaglets about 12 and 14 days old now.

Click on Cam #2 for another farther away from the nest view.

Today’s home inspection in Jasper Georgia. A little hazy today and you couldn’t see the far away ridgelines. Still a beautiful day and some nice scenery!

Ray, the haze is from a wild fire that we’re having up here in the mountains. It’s been going on for about 3 days now. More heavy in my area.

Hey Thomas, that’s a bummer. How widespread is it? You are near Hiawassee?

So I was given a thermal camera to test and review. I’ll provide a review after I’ve had a little more time with it. It’s super tiny and attaches to my phone. We were headed north for Easter so I tossed it in my bag.

I’m currently at the In-laws in NJ drinking my coffee and my Niece says she hears a drip right under the upstairs bathroom…

A couple things, this particular thermal imager does not have fusion mode which gives you the outline of objects for contextual placement. That said, it does it’s job. Gonna need to get a plumber in here.

I put a piece of tape on the ceiling at the center of the wet spot. I did that for the visual image, that tape isn’t in the thermal image.
